Railway brake slack adjuster can be widely used in fundamental braking devices of various wagons, whose design conforms to the UIC standard. In braking, the slack adjuster can extend or shrink with the change of the shoe clearance, so as to maintain the brake cylinder piston within the scope of specified stroke and keep normal clearance between the brake shoe and the car wheel, thus ensuring the braking force of the car and improving safe operation.

ZTI slack adjuster is composed of two parts – the proper and the control. The proper mainly consists of the cylinder assembly, sleeve assembly, guide nut spring case assembly, front cover, screw, outer sheath, spring, pull rod, etc. The control consists of the joystick and the joystick head.
